Alumni Band 2023!
Under the direction of Dr. Jeffrey Keller and Mr. Jeremy Bradstreet, the alumni band will perform “Hang On Sloopy” and “Fight Song” at Pre-Game. Sloopy will be a combined performance with the current Dublin Coffman Marching Band. Since these two songs cross many generations of alumni, our hope is with just a little practice these songs will regain their shape that helped us entertain so many thousands of fans in our long history. Please don’t make an excuse! We want to see you! If you just hold your instrument, we won’t tell anyone. (Sorry Flags and Twirlers – this doesn’t apply to you....)
Alumni Band 2023 Information
ALUMNI BAND DATE: Friday, SEPTEMBER 22nd, 2023!

If you are participating on Friday night, there will be a $40.00 fee that covers your new alumni shirt uniform and jeans (your own jeans), your music, your admission and your 3rd quarter snack. If you participated in previous years, you will be receiving a new alumni t-shirt. Your family and your parents will love seeing you out on the field one more time. Please understand that anyone joining you for Friday will have to pay for admission into the stadium. Our goal is to have a space reserved in the stands for all of our families to enjoy the sights and sounds of “Football Friday Night.”

Please see MUSIC DOWNLOAD section below for PDF files for you to download along with songs we will play in the stands. Field Commanders and Twirlers are invited to create their own routines to all of our songs and can use the resource recordings to help guide them for their routines. Field Commanders have the option to play their instruments or direct the band. Our flags can view the routines of all the songs via YouTube by searching “DCHSFLAGCORPS”.

School Owned Instruments: If you play sousaphone, baritone, mellophone, or percussion and need a school owned instrument: email Mr. Jason Nippert at <nippert_jason@dublinschools.net>. These school owned instruments are on a first come/first serve basis. As you all remember, we have a limited amount of school owned instruments so contact us early to reserve your instrument. Other instruments than the ones listed above are available if they are in our inventory. Please do your best to make your own arrangements if you need any other instrument.

How You Can Help! Please EMAIL any communications to all the alumni in your address book. Our goal is to reach as many graduating band members from DHS or DCHS as possible!
