Competition Uniform

The competition uniform is designed specifically to enhance the band's contest show and changes each year. This uniform is worn for all OMEA and BOA competitions and is occasionally worn at football games.

*Shako (stored in hat box)
*Shako wrap (folded neatly in garment bag)
DC Ballcap
Competition uniform top
Black bib pants
Long black socks
Black marching shoes
Black gloves
- Percussion do not need gloves
- Fingerless gloves for clarinets
Undershirt
- For football games: current year's show shirt (summer uniform shirt is allowed if you do not have a show shirt)
- For competitions: summer uniform shirt

*There are some years when the shako will not be a part of the competition uniform. This will be based on the contest show design
